NextGen at Adyen

As a NextGen in our Amsterdam office, you will dive into the world of payments, turn your passions into practice and kick start your career. We give you responsibility from day one, but we don’t hand-hold. We have freedom, and little structure. We challenge you to start your own projects and optimize processes, while enjoying the freedom to make an impact. We want you to help us change and scale the payments industry - taking ownership and turning ideas into reality. We’re always open for feedback and new ideas. NextGen provides an opportunity for you as a student in the final phase of your studies (6 ~ 12 months left) to join Adyen on a part time basis, and grow into a full time position once graduated. You will be matched with one of the many teams within Adyen based on your background, interests and ambitions. You will become an integral part of a team, discovering and developing your strengths and skills to support the business.

We take a personal approach: you apply to the program, and together during the first interview we try to find the right position and team within Adyen. Your next interviews will be with the team we see best fit.

Who you are:

• You have a great sense of responsibility and strong analytical skills;
• You understand you'll be working with confidential data and will act accordingly;
• You pick up new information easily, take ownership and are collaborative;
• You are a student and have the ambition to join Adyen full-time after graduating.

Requirements: 

• You are registered and living in the Netherlands;
• You are graduating within 6 to 12 months (and currently enrolled in a study program)
• You are available to work at least 16 hours a week;
• You are able to work from our Amsterdam offices;
• You can speak and write English on a professional level.
